‘Favorite Routes’ Library Talks Start Tomorrow
Ever ridden the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trail? That’s one route I’ll be showing and telling about in my talk at the Issaquah branch of the King County Library System, tomorrow (Sunday, March 30) at 2 p.m.
It’s the first in a series of “My Favorite Rides” talks that I’m doing for the county libraries as part of the Start to Fitness series. There are a number of other biking talks presented by others, including Cascade Bicycle Club. Of course the talks are free and open to the public.
The other talks include Kent on Thursday, April 10 at 6 p.m. and Burien on Sunday, April 27, at 3 p.m. A fourth talk, at Lake Forest Park Library (right off the Burke-Gilman Trail!) is set for Thursday, July 17 at 7 p.m.
See more about all the events on their website.
Along with a focus on rides near each library, I’ll show slides and map routes of major rides around Puget Sound that I’m encouraging people to try. I’ll also have online and printed maps and will take questions about routes and rides around the region.
