Enjoying Holiday Lights by Bike
This holiday season we’ve enjoyed a couple of fantastic bicycle rides thorugh Seattle on cold, clear nights. The lights of the season are a highlight, as are destinations like Pike Place Market and Golden Gardens Park.

Our bikes were wrapped in twinkly or rope lights, ready for a nighttime ride to check out the holiday lighting and Christmas Ships.
We enjoyed a stunning sunset at the Pike Place Market, with a ferry crossing Elliott Bay.
Great views from the new “Marketfront” plaza at Pike Place Market, including the big ferris wheel and Elliott Bay. Notice the Christmas Ship festooned with lights to the right of the wheel.
Pike Place Market is magical at any time of year, but especially at the holidays.
This home in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood won our home decorating award with two big leaf maples wrapped in blue LEDs. Thank you homeowner!
With a Christmas Ship blazing at its center, Shilshole Marina in Northwest Seattle is in the holiday mood, with many boats displaying colorful lights.
